Four Mistakes to Avoid for a Better Pizza Ordering and Delivery Experience

Whether you like your pizza to have a thick or thin crust, with extra cheese or just a small amount of cheese, the fact remains that you love pizza. And you may be frequently requesting a Double Pizza food delivery. However, are you ordering pizza the right way? Or can you do a better job when you order again from your favourite pizza place?

The truth is that there are things you can do to improve your pizza delivery experience. And this is possible when you avoid the following mistakes:

Ordering Pizza Already Cut

Placing a pizza order is supposed to give you a convenient, hands-off dinner. But cutting the pizza yourself after it arrives in your place comes with some benefits. When you order your pizza uncut, you can cut it in a way you want the slices to be sized or shaped. Also, this helps the pizza retain more heat during transportation, which means you get it still hot. And if you like your pizza to have a crispy crust, cutting it yourself will help achieve this.

Failing to Reheat the Pizza Once It Arrives

Although you hope your pizza arrives still hot on the box, your delivery pizza may no longer be as hot as you want it. Reheating it before you enjoy is a significant upgrade.  Just ensure you reheat the pizza properly. This means preheating the oven to 500° Fahrenheit and tossing the pizza into the baking sheet you place.

Failing to Order the Right Amount of Pizza for Your Group

If you are ordering pizza for a group, you want to ensure there is enough to satisfactorily feed everyone. But you should not order too much and waste money. So, when you order pizza either for a family or a huge party, go with the 3/8 rule. This rule assumes that the majority of medium pizzas have 8 slices and an average person can consume three slices of this pizza size. To account for bigger or smaller pizza sizes and less hungry or hungrier guests, just adjust the formula.

Ordering Pizza with Too Many Toppings

No matter how much you love your pizza to be fully loaded with toppings, you might not be able to make the most out of your order when you order pizza with too many toppings. When you request your pizza to have many toppings, the pizza worker will only add a small amount of this topping to your pizza to accommodate the other toppings you want.
